Prepared for the moment everything changes.

SFC Shield is the safety companion on your phone. It helps you prepare before you set off, raise an alarm in seconds when things go wrong and know what to do next – even when the network is gone.

Why Shield

Emergencies don't wait for good reception.

Unrest in the streets, an accident on a remote road, a medical emergency far from home: in the first minutes, staying calm and doing the right thing is what counts. Shield is built for exactly those minutes.

Unrest and crowds

Raise an alarm discreetly, find a way to safety and follow a clear guide for what to do next.

Remote and offline

Your alarm waits and goes out automatically as soon as there is a connection. Until then: SMS to your contacts and a direct call to 112.

Accidents and medical emergencies

Local emergency numbers, the nearest hospital, your medical card and a structured accident report – in one place.

Features

Everything you need when it counts.

Shield brings together what security professionals carry in their heads – and puts it on your phone in a way that still works under stress.

Emergency alert in one tap

Sends your GPS position and, if you allow it, a photo. Silent triggers – shaking the phone or the volume button – start a 5-second countdown you can cancel.

Works without a network

No connection? The alarm is stored and sent automatically later. Meanwhile you can text your emergency contacts your location or call 112 directly.

“What do I do now?”

17 crisis guides that work offline – from robbery and unrest to earthquakes, kidnapping and serious injury – with clear steps for now and afterwards.

Country information and incident map

Security situation by country and current incidents on a map, so you know what to expect before you arrive.

Local emergency help

The right emergency numbers for the country you are in, the nearest hospitals and safe places, and navigation to safety.

Walk with me and travel timer

Share your position with someone you trust before you set off, and set a travel timer that reminds you to confirm your arrival.

Fake call

A realistic incoming call that gives you a reason to leave an uncomfortable situation.

Medical card and document vault

Blood type, allergies and medication ready to share; copies of important documents stored on your device.

Awareness check

21 realistic scenarios, tailored to how and where you travel – for business, privately, with family or for media and NGO work.

Also on board: itinerary planning, vehicle accident report and the “family calm package” that keeps the people at home informed.

How it works

Prepare. Alert. Get through it.

Good security starts before the emergency. Shield guides you through three phases.

  1. PrepareSet up emergency contacts, medical card and permissions in advance, take the awareness check and have the crisis guides available offline.
  2. AlertOne tap – or a silent trigger – sends your position and an optional photo. Without a network the alarm waits and goes out automatically; SMS and 112 are always one tap away.
  3. Get through itClear steps for the situation you are in, the nearest hospital, navigation to safety – and an “I'm safe” message when it is over.

Privacy by design

Your safety data stays yours.

An app that knows where you are carries great responsibility. That's why Shield follows clear rules:

  • No tracking, analytics or advertising SDKs
  • No automatic audio or video recording – an alarm sends location and, optionally, a photo
  • Personal data stored on the device is removed when you log out
  • Important information is available offline, directly on your phone
  • Developed in the EU with the GDPR in mind

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

When will SFC Shield be available?

Shield is currently in development and being tested. Android comes first, iOS is planned. There is no release date yet – join early access and we will let you know.

Does Shield replace emergency services?

No. Shield supports you, but it does not replace the police, ambulance or fire service. In an emergency, always call the local emergency number – 112 in the EU. Shield helps you find the right number and call it directly.

Does the app work without internet?

Partly – on purpose. Crisis guides, your profile and saved information work offline. An alarm raised without a connection is stored and sent automatically later; in the meantime you can text your emergency contacts your location or call 112.

What will it cost?

Shield will be a subscription with several tiers – from private travellers to companies. Prices will be announced at launch.

Who is behind SFC Shield?

SFC Forge, the software division of S.F. Custos Global Reach Ltd, a security consulting and risk management firm registered in Cyprus. The security know-how comes from many years of protection work in high-risk regions.

Will my data be sold or used for advertising?

No. Shield contains no tracking, analytics or advertising SDKs, and this website sets no cookies.
